Spievy z-pad mosta is a choir of women in exile.

A group of friends formed the choir, honing their skills under the guidance of Rusia.

Rusia is avocal therapist and the leader of the ethno-electronic duo Šuma. For over 10years, she has explored ethnographic archives, combining the traditional culture of Belarus with contemporary formats and media.

This rediscovered culture of song brought many Belarusian women together to form the choir. It became a way to cope with the collective trauma of forced emigration. Over time, the choir, initially amateur, grew more professional and began participating in numerous cultural events.

The concert is part of the Bydgoszcz UNESCO City of Music program and the DRUMS FUSION/ROOTS/INCLUSION application project.
