For nearly 15 years, the label The Very Polish Cut-Outs, tirelessly and successfully led by Zambon, has been uncovering and promoting musical gems excavated from the vast archives of Polish popular music. It does so primarily by giving these tracks a new context, applying studio manipulations in the form of edits and remixes. This approach also adapts them to the needs of contemporary DJ sets and the expectations of modern listeners.

The label, born out of a passion for DJing, initially focused on releasing edits of forgotten or lesser-known Polish tracks. Overtime, it transformed into a full-fledged label that has significantly contributed to the popularization of Polish music both domestically and internationally. Among its most notable releases are the archival album “Dotyk”by Renata Lewandowska from 2020, the compilation “Echowielkiej płyty”, which features never-before-released Polish electronic compositions from the 1980s, as well as enthusiastically received reissues of works by artists such as Pol Rax and Modfunk.

Over more than 14 years of operation, the label has discovered and promoted numerous talented producers and DJs, including Pejzaż, the duo Holiday80, Karol Aleksander, DJ Duch, Bisti, Dyyune, Old Spice, and the duo Etnobiotanika.

In 2024, the label opened a new chapter in its history by releasing the EP “Co z Tobą” by Julia Rover. This marked the first release in the The Very Polish Originals series, dedicated entirely to new, original, and unconventional music.

The  sets performed by Zambon and other DJs and producers associated with The Very Polish Cut-Outs are known for their unconventional selection of Polish and Eastern European music. This music includes dusty original recordings from past decades, various edits and remixes from the label's extensive catalog (and beyond), as well as contemporary discoand house dance music produced by local artists. This meticulously crafted musical formula has made the label's sets and showcases exceptionally original and unique events on the Polish club scene.
