A moment of relaxation - Karolina Świdecka's painting exhibition
Free admission
She has had a number of individual and group exhibitions in prestigious exhibition halls, including the Historical Museum of Cracow and the Wawel Conference Center. Świdecka's works find their way into private collections around the world.
The painter is inspired by man and the surrounding reality. Through landscape she expresses emotional states. One of Świdecka's more interesting projects was to paint portraits of famous Cracovians in cooperation with the Historical Museum of the City of Cracow, which resulted in a documentary film about the project produced by Canal Plus. As a result, the Historical Museum enriched its collection with 33 portraits of important Krakow personalities painted by Świdecka, including Czesław Milosz, Krzysztof Penderecki, Anna Polony, Anna Dymna, Jan Kanty-Pawluśkiewicz, Jerzy Trela, Jan Nowicki, and Grzegorz Turnau.
