5'nizza, or piatnica (meaning Friday) is a phenomenal Ukrainian duo that was born in 2000 in Kharkov.

The band's founders - Andrei"Sun" Zaporozec and Sergei Babkin - created a unique style. The band's music has a combination of influences: reggae, rock, hip hop, jazz and bossa nova which is performed in a minimalistic style limited to vocals, beatboxing, and acoustic guitar. All of that is connected with texts written in Ukrainian, Russian and English, full of abstract humor and wordplay. Critics wrote that 5'nizza is like Manu Chao, Bob Marley and Włodzimierz Wysocki in one. Despite lack of support from large labels, the group attracted cult following in much of Central and Eastern Europe, but also in the West and in the Baltic States. Songs like Sołdat (Soldier) or Jamaica have become cult songs also in Poland. The cover of Bob Marley's Jammin and climatic ballads Newa and Wiesna (Spring) also gained great popularity. In 2007, the group broke up at the peak of popularity. The last concerts took place in Warsaw and Krakow, at the Studio club. The clubs were filled to the brim and the audience sang in choral. In 2015, 5'nizza reactivated by publishing new songs and again gathering thousands of spectators at concerts.
